Pastor Ken started as the lead pastor at Grace on December 6, 2021. He had a rewarding and successful business career that spanned over 30 years. He was first called by Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clarkston MI. and was ordained in June of 2018. Pastor Ken served as a member of the staff there while being deployed as a mission development pastor at ministry sites in Lapeer, Pontiac, and Pinckney. He brings with him a deep sense of God's presence developed over the past 10 years as a trained spiritual director and graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He should be able to integrate easily into the well-developed programs and structure at Grace. Relying on the Holy Spirit's guidance and his business experiences. He is excited to work with a talented staff of volunteers and employees, excited leadership, and a spirit-filled mission-focused loving membership!
Ken is married to Diane Bareis Greble (a pastor as well) and lives with their family pet Frazier (a Gordon Setter) in Fowlerville, MI. They have two daughters living in Grand Rapids MI. Sara and Kaitlynn.

Lauren Petrill, Church Music Director, has a hand in all music and choir related activities at Grace Lutheran Church, as well as many Outreach Ministry events.  She studied music at the University of Michigan and excels at the flute and piano.  Her job involves choosing the worship music each week; selecting choir performance pieces; scheduling and leading choir rehearsals; and fostering each singer’s musical growth.  Lauren is enthusiastic and dedicated, bringing a positive attitude to every worship and event. With her 30 years of experience, education, and commitment, Lauren has excellent musicianship and is a strong performer.  With her deep knowledge of classic and contemporary worship music, liturgical settings, and scripture, Lauren is an exciting addition as the Music Director for Grace Lutheran.

I come to Grace Lutheran, from my procurement background in engineering. An administrator position is alike, yet vastly different. In my former capacity, I was project oriented, dedicated to certain tasks to acquire specialized equipment to complete a program, reporting to a manager. Here, I have to become a Jack (Johnnie) of all trades to support PastorKen and the rest of the church and its staff, as well. I'm finding my adjustment to this role as somewhat daunting, but that is good, as I am learning new things. My knowledge base is expanding through trial and error, as I perform these tasks over and over. My ultimate goal is to become efficient in office management to help promote the Souls, of  this Body of Christ, unto as many good Words and Works for Kingdom.
