Adopt-A-Highway

Grace Lutheran sponsors a 2-mile section of M-59 (from Eager Rd to Hughes Rd) under Permit #4708215950132 of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Adopt-a-Highway program.

This ministry supports Grace’s Mission to “Reach out with compassion and service beyond our community”. The road is cleaner and safer, and 2 road signs recognize Grace’s participation.

MDOT schedules 3 pickup dates each year, spanning 2 weekends each in April, July, and September.

Grace collected 71 bags of trash in 2023, and worked 62 hours.

Graceful Hands
Every 3rd Wednesday

Our mission is to help the community through needle arts.

We will focus on projects that fulfill the needs of the community.

Please bring your sewing machine, if you have one, general sewing supplies, and a smile.

Any Good Sized, good quality, clean fabric that you can donate would be appreciated.

If you are not interested in sewing at all, bring your knitting or other projects you are working on and enjoy each other's company!

Voice of Truth Mission

Voice of Truth (VOT) is a local, overnight, week-long opportunity at Calvary for youth and young adults to live out their faith by being the hands and feet of Jesus in surrounding communities. This is a unique experience for people of all ages with a balance of faith formation, service projects, and activities. This is a great starter mission experience.
