R.E.A.C.H

(Responding Everyday Against Community Homelessness)

"for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,"

Matthew 25:35

The R.E.A.C.H. program is a unique program.  The requirements of the program ensure the clients find a job within the first 2 week period they are enrolled.  If they are unable to comply with the job requirement they are not allowed in this 13-week program directed at assisting the homeless in finding employment.  R.E.A.C.H. educates the clients by assisting in the development of a budget and setting up a savings program to ensure that at the end of the program funds will be available toward housing.  During the clients enrollment Bible study and worship are encouraged and provided by the Salvation Army.  Our local churches further the support by providing shelter during the enrollment time.

I am very blessed to be part of a ministry at Grace that contributes such a vital role in assisting the homeless in Livingston County.

God Bless you all, Linda Oumedian
